Welcome to the Library
Embsay-with-Eastby Community Library is one of North Yorkshire's many local libraries. It is a community library run in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC): the North Yorkshire Library Service provides the books and other loanable resources while the library itself is staffed entirely by volunteers.

The library is closed at the moment but we will be open today, from 2.00pm to 6.00pm.
After today, we will next be open on Friday, 22nd November 2024 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

We are closed on national bank holidays, including those at Easter and Christmas.
Location
The Community Library is located in Embsay Village Hall (known locally as The Institute), at the junction of Main Street and Laurel Croft at the top of the village. For more information about the Village Hall, see the Yorkshire Venues website.

Once through the main doors of the village hall, the Library is in the room at the far right-hand side of the foyer area.
Access to the library
Buses from Skipton stop nearby. There is a free car park directly opposite the library. There is wheelchair access into the village hall and library.
